Champions League 25/26

Arsenal will never play as open as Bayern did last week.
They won't, but if you want to beat PSG and their street football, you need to slow the game down and play out of their press without mistakes. Every mistake can end with a goal for them.

I don't think Arsenal is capable of that. Other scenario is, park the bus and play for pens.

The truth is: we have a super inexperienced team, with leaders of the team on the pitch being teenagers

Atletico is a side full of experienced players. And those who maybe have less experience but play extremely dirty football and use every single opportunity to steal, cheat, simulate, pretend in order to win a game (ala Simeone)

And one moment is enough. Simeone saw Cubarsi running in front of him, put his leg in front, ref fell for it, they scored right after and that was eventually the decisive moments

Until we have some real experience in the team, we are likely to face problems against teams with much less quality than us

What's with the Arsenal hate? They don't play top attacking football as PSG and Bayern, but look like a solid team.
Still, PSG can probably beat them convincingly anyway.
It's not so much the team, as their fans online, who are the most unbearable fanbase by far. Them winning a double would be annoying. Super annoying.

Congrats to arsenal, but we definitely would have beaten them another opportunity to make the final lost.

For the 5th time!!.

You guys are funny. There is no definitely would have beaten Arsenal, unless we correct the defensive fuckups. The defensive fuckups are part of our team.

It's not bad luck, it's not something that happens to us out of some black voodoo stuff. We simply have to upgrade the way we play to improve in CL.

The final will probably be a close affair. Arsenal are quite difficult to break down and they manage their energy well so it's hard to put 3 or 4 goals past them.

Bayern or PSG will still be favourites but Arsenal won't be conceding 4 or 5 like either of them against each other.

Arsenal is a structurally better defensive team than Paris, maybe not Bayern, but they’ll face a much better attack than this one tonight in the final

They play the kind of football nobody wants to watch. Even in a game like this when they are faced against a team that plays similar style, they still looked like shit for most of the tie

There was nothing beautiful or exciting in 180 minutes of the matchup. Their goals coming from a penalty and a lucky rebound

Also this kind of football is meant to be played by teams with little budget who don't have the quality to go band to band with the absolute top. If teams like Arsenal who spend hundreds of milions every summer start playing haramball football kinda loses it's meaning

And then people say "so what if they spent money they still don't have the players to play free flowing football"

Does Barca have the players? No. And do we play low block and do diving, acting, cheating to win games? No.

Not to mention that Arsenal also has loads of money that they can spend any time they want. If there was really something wrong with this, Arteta probably could have brought a top player this winter. But no, this is just how he choose to play because it's safer and because he is desperate for silverware at this point

We have two big things to correct next season if we want to stop playing "we would'ves".

Manage the minutes of the key players by rotating more often and smarter. Improve the defense both tactically and in terms of personnel. If we don't do that, we ain't reaching the top under Flick.

I believe we'll do the 2nd before the first.
Flick squad utilization is terrible.

Something is gonna go wrong again next season if we change nothing. A red at the worst time, some injury to some key player, something that can fuck us up in these small margins games.

Xavi played even worse football but thankfully we are not small minded club like Arsenal and don't keep barren managers going for years without big title.
