Btw, it's hilarious how Madrid get away with clear pens not called even with VAR. That push from behind by Carreras is a clear pen. At 1-3, tie is almost over. It's almost the same type of incident like the pen the same ref, Oliver, called in Madrid - Juve on Vazquez.

Madrid - Bayern match was good for us. Showed weaknesses in both sides. I'd much rather PSG or Arsenal win than one of these two, if we can't make the final. Or Atletico, but their chances are slim. If we somehow make the final and we have full squad fit, we have our chances regardless of the opponent.

Impressive yet needed Neuer to make some impressive saves. If news were correct the most amount of saves he made in CL knockouts in his career.

Once more the confirmation that you need a great GK to win CL. I mean, if Courtois was fit for this one Bayern maybe don't even win yesterday.

Agreed that they were not that impressive. Man, this annoys me about Madrid in CL... They play a bad game vs the probably best Bayern of the last 5 years, yet still only lose 1-2. If I compare that to Barça's bad games... don't even want to think further.

Yes, losing at home is never good and Bayern is expected to win the tie at home, but Madrid has everything to play for. Without the away goal rule this is not even a bad result at all. Score the first goal at Allianz and then you'll see how good this Bayern is...

While Neuer had a good night, it is their finishing that let them down and kept the loss respectable for Madrid. Bayern should have won by 3 goals on the night.
