  • 3rd phase (Gol Sud & Nord) by April/May 2027 for full 105 capacity

The work will also continue in other areas of Espai Barça, including the new museum and the new Camp Nou store.

The club believes it's possible to install the roof in 4 months, at the end of next season (summer 2027).

If the deadlines aren't met, they are considering two options. If it's for just a few matches, play at Johan Cruyff Stadium with 10,000 spectators or return to Montjuïc if it takes longer

Skywalk planned for summer 2028. Pretty solid plan, looking forward to seeing that 3rd tier filling up over the course of next season - I will aim for Q1/Q2 of 2027 to attend a match. I just hope the pricing normalizes

Bernabeu looks rough from the outside but absolutely class on the inside.

Know folk involved to high level of football that say it is best stadium been in outside of the US/ World Cup.
 
I've seen many go there on YouTube and say the seats are still cramped.

Come to think of it my co worker went a few weeks back and said the same.

Massive Madrid 🤮 and almeria fan.

It makes sense too they didn't really do much work to expand the stadium.

So the seats are cramped
It looks like shit
Can't keep its sound in
Can't grow grass.

But has a nice screen and good vip areas.

Never been but I would bet spurs stadium is a better overall experience for the average fan.
 
Seats were fairly crammed in at Nou Camp in past also and will be again. It is the way it goes.

Bernabeu has a unique look to it and history.

How tight it is on the inside adds to it feeling like a theatre and all so close to the pitch.

Looks poor on outside but inside matters a lot more and it is one of the best going in there.
 
Really I've heard the seats are more comfortable after the development.

I'll have to find one of the videos where fans went to both and said the camp nou was more comfortable.

The only possible argument that you have is aesthetics of the exterior. Everything else is worthless.

I'm sure it looks pretty on TV and if you are a VIP it's the business
 
There is no sound problem at Bernabeu or growing the grass..

Bet your bottom dollar it is not more crammed than other stadiums either to any great deal.

Looks bland on outside but top class on onside.

Barcas hopefully looks class also but so far looks worse than Reals for how close are to pitch etc.

At this point? Yes. It grows well. Thanks to proper tech used after substantial learning curve - which is not surprising. Because, big ass sun restriction and lack of air movement is no bueno for grass, mr jamrock. So you need magical lamps, sprinklers, ventilators, etc... Shocking right?

What sound problem? The one for concerts?

Cramped seats lol. Dear lord. Whats next, lack of leather coverage for the average population?
