They moved the led ad banner a bit back. Against Espanyol the first rows were full again.Someone said the view problem from behind the goal has been solved but I still saw empty seats from that section so maybe not.
Gol Sud isn't full yet
I think the bigger reason for the current speed is the lack of workforce. Pretty sure the construction could have been sped up by at least one year with double the workers. Will be interesting to see how much happens off season when they can work uninterrupted for a couple of months again.
Nothing to do with logistical safety reasons?I think the bigger reason for the current speed is the lack of workforce. Pretty sure the construction could have been sped up by at least one year with double the workers.
Take for example the compression ring. They're building it only on the lateral side, while the cranes on the tribuna side stand idle. Nothing prevents them to construct the ring from both sides simultaneously, but the missing workforce. We're not Qatar to hire tens of thousands slave workers from India and Pakistan to build a stadium in 2 years.
I'm no expert, but I can't think of a reason, why safety should prevent to build it from two sides. They're far enough apart for both sides to work independently from each other I think. I might be wrong though. But this was also one example.Nothing to do with logistical safety reasons?
Was thinking logistics based on the stadium being used for matches. I suspect they have prioritized keeping attendance high at the expense of taking heavy safety measures which affects the timeline. It's only natural the construction cannot go on at 100% efficiency and then put on hold for 2 days to have a game, and then continue from where they left off. Some zones/phases must've been paused fully is my guess without having seen the construction zone outside of the stadium.I'm no expert, but I can't think of a reason, why safety should prevent to build it from two sides. In addition to reports that Limak had difficulties to find enough workers from the start, because they overestimated the available workforce in Barcelona, they're currently streched very thin on 7 floors simultaneously. 2 underground, museum floor, 2 VIPs, second catwalk (third stand) and the highest one they're building the compression ring on. And in every interior video from Ferran, I always think there could work way more people.
I think it's mostly a question of money, since we're paying the absolute minimum for such a stadium and Limak hires according to the budget we're providing.
