I'm starting to think the club has other plans vs us the fans, or most of us, so I will just let them do what they want hoping they know best what the team needs.

But if we don't upgrade that defense, and we think heavy press up front is gonna be the magic pill that washes every problem away... we better think again.

The better teams will find ways to play out of our pressing, and then our defense will get us in big trouble just like in the previous two seasons in CL.

More pressure and intensity is welcome and will help, but it is not the definitive fix that will improve the defense.

Even if they think that I don't understand how you can rely on Christensen who cannot stay healthy and Araujo who is awful.
 
Inability to kick out players that are surplus (for years) has become symptomatic for Deco.
I mean he has managed to give away our players for loans while we pay entirety of wages. Next level of stupidity.

We are the paradise for Bums. It has been a tradition long before Deco became part of the board. We as a club need to adapt ruthlessness in our transfer and dealings and not show softness anywhere as a club of our stature. Idk who we need to hire. Even aCEO of a very sccessful company as our chief strategist with the combination of probably someone in early twenties to thirties with loads of experience in FM/fantasy and have unhealthy obsession of watching/scouting young talents.

I think getting Klopp from RB GmBH for the exact role he is playing there will be an absolute genius play from our side. Current level or players produced by RB Leipzing is not coincidence in my opinion. Why don’t we pull him? What stops us?

Hes not Spanish/Portuguese, which in Decos eyes makes a player/coach magicly 2x better

Klopp has nothing to do with what happens at RB Leipzig and their talent recruitment and development.

He's basically a well paid mascot for Red Bull and their sports side.
 
Looks like we will bring back Jan Virgili with a plan to loan him to Betis.

Not sure how much he'll play there but with Liverpool hijacking Munoz deal I wonder if Newcastle will go for Abde now though he's probably not their first choice.

Anyway kind of make sense to keep control over Virgili and see if he can play on a higher level, also in the CL next season. Could increase his value and then we can either sell or potentially bring him back as a squad player if he improves enough.

Also wouldn't surprise me if we would include him in a deal for Natan.
 
Maybe give him a chance in preseason? We won't have any other attacker except Roony at the start and he could surprise. If we don't bring Alvarez or anybody else we need players in attack anyway, we shouldn't loan him too fast.
