Araujo apparently just said recently he's happy and doesnt want to go anywhere. These guys just dig in, my God.
 
We are linked with several youth players.

Apparently we are on the verge of signing Salinas from Racing, and likely loaning him back.
He is a LB, from highlights it seems he is good in making crosses and creating, solid defensively, bad in build up.

We are also following Christ Inao Oulaï from Ivory coast and Trabzonspor.

Recently linked to Australian CB Lucas Herrington, he plays in MLS atm.

This is who we are. A clue less club. If the opportunity to grab someone like Barcola comes, we absolutely grab it. Gordon is a bench-player at his best for our club. We make peace with not getting striker for a seaon if the quality isn’t available. But never compromise ourself buying another Ferran Toores, Paco Alcacer or De jong 🤣 Only buy quality and wait out for another opportunity.

We are obsessed with slow, mediocre players who could play cute little passes. Thats our first profile for CB/CDM/CM/AM 🤣 our whole scouting and strategic team should be fired. Van De Veen, Lukeba, Diomande, Barcola, Kobie Mainoo, Osmien etc in one transfer window or two isn’t impossible specially if Barcola doesn’t want bench anymore. We could actually transform the club if we get our head from the past and kill this obsession with slow players with limited abilites that have to be confined within a Barca’s system and one dimensional style of play that gave us golden time during Pep and Messi era.

Well, Mainoo is not very physical, if anything, he is more like the mediocre midgets who play cute passes, rather than some physical beast.

They have big contracts. It's not easy to find clubs who want to pay for them like that.

Most of the time it comes down to the money and what they would earn elsewhere.
 
Need to solve the Fullback issue.
Getting both of Cancelo & Grimaldo solves a lot of our issues. They will be cheap, and can give us 2-3 seasons.

After that, pray that Kounde leaves if a club wants him. If so, go and get Palestra/Doue next year. The way its going, I dont think a single club would want him on the wages he is on. Fuck me.

Balde, if he doesnt improve, atleast he is cheap and can be a backup. After 2 seasons hope we have a starter quality LB ahead of him.

Talking of Smartbank, we could look at Chupete from Malaga.

He has 24 goals, he's 21, and they would apparently consider around 10 million for him.

He's a strong forward who's good at playing with his back to goal and holding up the ball. He's great at shielding it and his first touch is good. He wins a lot of duels.

Decent shooter/finisher.

I think, if the reported price is correct, it could be worth giving him a go as a backup piece initially. Malaga may be promoted to LaLiga so it remains to be seen what happens, if they do or don't go up.

If anything a CM or DM.

Focus should be on Striker and wingbacks.


Just give up on freaking Alvarez, it will just end up like usual where we dont get him and we panicbuy some washed up player for way to much money.
