And you tried to tell me he has been rested? Hahaha. It's injury management for most of the time. Not even that done well.
That literally talks about one game prior to Real final.. he was rested and taken off early a lot more than that.
Like who? Most of the top level wingers didn't even get near 4.7k minutes last season.
He had a hamstring injury + a relapse before that. He got injured quite soon after Newcastle 1-2 win at the start of the season. He had in total 3 hamstring injuries this season.

Mbappe played similar last season.
Salah has played multiple seasons of over 4K in tougher physical league.
Rice/Caicedo in far more physical position playing over 4K last season and this.

That report states it impacted Espanyol game and Bilbao then passed fit to play v Real when unsure.
Yes he had hamstring injury earlier that came back from and was as said.. playing 45mins, 45 mins and 62 mins in lead up to that injury.

You are trying to make a case that Raphinha would accept being rotatated when fully heatlhy without problems? Didn't you watch him in the last 4 years? He was always moaning, making troubles when coming off the field and it's known that he resented Xavi for taking him off the pitch. serghei is right, Yamal and Raphinha make trouble everytime they don't play when healthy and like Valverde years ago Flick decided that it's easier for him to just play them all the time. I don't agree with any of it and I think that is a big part of our troubles in CL. Playing Yamal in LL before the Atletico match was idiotic but it's difficult in the changing room for Flick with characters like that.
It's not a diss on Yamal and Rapha, love them but they aren't doing themselves any favor with this. Messi was similar but he wasn't as extreme as Yamal in forbidding coaches to rest him and he was smart enough that he rested on the pitch and it didn't harm him that much even though there was matches where he would be better if he rested more.

He was moaning about feeling like he would come off every game regardless under Xavi and it almost being pre determined despite where game was at.
Didnt feel fully trusted.

Raphinha was rested and did come off early this season.

I hope I’m wrong, but it seems like we’ll be linked with Bastoni and Álvarez all summer. However, they could be out of reach unless we sell someone like Koundé.
I was at Camp Nou this season, and Koundé was by far our worst player on the pitch. If someone needs to go, it’s him.
Selling him for €70–80 million, as has been mentioned, plus Fati for €11 million and Casadó for €15 million, would be decent business. We could easily raise around €100 million.
I would sign Cancelo and Ratiu, and I think we’d be well covered at the full-back positions. Maybe Grimaldo as well, if needed.
Now, getting a striker will be a nightmare, so I think we have a higher chance of getting Bastoni than Álvarez.
If we get Bastoni for €70 million, I believe we could also get a decent option for LW, like Muñoz, Gods, or Schjelderup, who fit the profile better than Rashford.
Also, getting rid of Christensen and Ter Stegen is a must.
Realistic summer plan:
OUT: Koundé, Fati, Casadó = €100 million
IN: Ratiu, Bastoni, LW = €120 million

Alvarez is to expensive and Atletico does not want to sell.
Other options are meh.

I think from a tactical POV he could be a good signing if cheap because he can cover at both CB and LB (if we decide to sell Balde and sign Cancelo cheap). Based on how Flick likes his defensive balance with attacking LB and defensive RB, it could be switched up with Aké at LB and a more offensive RB. That would mean Yamal can either get a playing partner on the wing or move more central like Raphinha is doing at LW. Granted, we'd need a LW who can beat his man 1v1 to stretch out the opponents.
