Guehi will be a starter at LCB for them most likely and Kushanov looks like will be a top player once settles down. He has pace, aggression, can leap and decent on ball.

But they would ask a lot for him.
 
Gvardiol could play LB also and Kushanov could play RB so options for them all but Gvardiol hasnt been all that brilliant for City either at CB.

Real been linked to Gvardiol also and he has a bit of power with contract having 2 years to run.
 
All that being said Gvardiol would be a great signing for us, but unrealistic.

Cherki has picked up a lot and been playing well at 10.. last night he got stifled by Garner as game went on and drifted wider to try and find space.

It is unlikely Olmo goes and could be getting fed shit as to how much anyone is interested but also the majority of Cherkis goals/assists this season have come from wide as he delivers a very good ball in and that is huge in game at moment.
 
Laimer's contract negotiations with Bayern are apparently hitting a wall and Bayern are saying that they're willing to let him leave on a free in 2027, or transfer him this summer, if he doesn't reduce his demands.

Apparently after they overspent on extending Musiala, Upamecano, Kimmich etc the board wants to cut down on pay raises and take a more strict position on the future salary structure. He wants 12-15m gross a year and they're refusing to give it, they want him closer to 10, although that's just rumoured.

Whilst I doubt that they will really hold out and let him leave cheaply or for free in 2027, and they will probably acquiesce to his demands..

He would be a perfect fit here. Quality player who's been one of the best right backs itw but can also play left back as well as being a natural midfielder. If we sell Kounde he has to be one of the top targets as a replacement.

Would also be a quality addition to the midfield rotation as well as covering both fullback positions.

Doubt Bayern will really let him go and they are probably just holding out for negotiations' sake but if he really becomes available we should investigate his signing.

It's also crazy that our top priority for the summer is a left winger for 3rd summer in a row while we have one of the best left wingers on the planet

I absolutely agree bringing a LW is non negotiable and has to be done but why do we keep involving these big names? If we buy Gordon we can only dream of a top striker or top CB or top RB
 
My advice for those who get queazy on the adult rides is to probably sit out transfer season, wait until the dust settles and enjoy all the new changes
 
Ndicka they could have signed for free years ago and some spoke of punting Araujo for him and taking the cash that would have generated...

Manu fans seems to love the idea of getting Balde, and Mendes has worked a lot with that club. I can see it as real possibility.

They just use us to get better wages.
Our stupid SD doesnt realize and starts looking for other alternatives to late.
We end up with Douglas level of defender and Lewandowski extended another year.
 
Betis, Celta, Getafe, Athletic, Sociedad and Osasuna... I'd sign a CB with La Liga experience from one of those. Should be 27-32 years old and preferably a starter. What are our options and how are the clauses looking?
