So you believe somehow FCB can pull hundreds in profits, pay debts, loans and spend 290 in a summer window while previous years we made profits barely worth a soda can.
We probably can spend another 50 due to Ferran and banking on a Liverpool deal etc.

Do you really think all this farce around Alvarez would be happening if we couldn’t afford to bring him in?
Over the last 6 seasons, we’ve made 50 million profit on transfers. This season, even if we signed Alvarez, we’d probably end up around 200 million in minus.
And, there’s more than enough room in the wage bill.

I’m an idiot for even explaining this.

Do I believe Laporta is a scoundrel? Yes.
I will detach from following the club or commenting here because he is a scoundrel after season starts.
 
after rodri i believe we will try really to play with a false 9 striker, maybe Olmo or raphinha there. Now i will focus on registrer the players for the Liga that we will play the first game soon

I am hoping we are looking at Charles de Ketelaere, I was quite impressed with him during the Spain match.
There are some rumours that we have inquired about him. Dont know if its true though.
 
Tresholdi is your plan B punt to replace Ferran surely.

As a Lewy starter though, big shoes to fill by a lad that prime @Birdy wouldn't even pick as a hidden gem.
 
CDK is a false 9 but he has the abilities to turn into a proper striker over time and he did very well for Belgium in that role, scored brace vs USA and only player who scored vs Spain

So yeah, it would be a gamble signing. But probably not for too much money because he's in Atalanta
 
I think maybe the best (available) option out there at this moment is Marcus Thuram

It's very hard to imagine Inter declining negotiations if we come asking for Marcus because they have Lautaro, Esposito and Bonny

I don't know about the price, because everything's gone to hell. But Serie A is still a little bit more reasonable than EPL in terms of prices

I think he has the potential to be like Ferran so maybe not a bad deal. Though highlights are misleading and you can only get his style from them. The numbers are good but it's no the best league to judge numbers.
But it's better than nothing I guess. We can't be too demanding.
 
There was a rumour of offering 10m for Remiro.

Would obviously be a lower priority late in the market move.

Especially when you could try and stick with Woj, with that 10m instead going towards Salinas (as an example).
