That's arguably the best summer of any team in Europe.
This is the 2nd time we've had money spend and absolutely nailed in twice.
This can't be Barcelona who have sucked for so many years at transfers.
But not with big Daddy laporta around, even the summers we can't spend, we've signed well.

Look at our squad. This is just insane. And if Álvarez and a left-footed centre-back (LCB) come in as well, it’s going to be absolutely ridiculous.
We have world-class players in pretty much every position. And the depth we have in attack is just unreal.
Gordon, Adeyemi (who can play on both the left and the right), Lamine, Raphinha, Álvarez.
Then Fermin and Olmo as options at No. 10.
Honestly, it’s incredible to compare this to where we were 3–4 years ago. And now here we are.
I think our board looked at what PSG have been doing — rotating heavily in Ligue 1 and then absolutely destroying everyone in the Champions League — and thought: if we don’t have enough depth, we won’t be able to compete for both La Liga and the Champions League while rotating the squad aggressively, because La Liga is much more competitive than Ligue 1.
So the idea seems to be to have high-level players basically doubling up in every position.
The only thing is, the players have to buy into it. Hopefully nobody starts complaining or throwing a tantrum when the manager rotates the squad heavily. With this much quality, everyone is going to have to accept that they won’t be starting every single game.

Flick just needs to ignore the copa del Rey like I've been saying for the last two years.
A certain folk said big clubs don't do that, then followed it up with PSG are winning the CL because they can rest players in the league.
But seriously flick needs to learn better squad utilization, deco is giving him a sqaud where he'll basically be forced to or have a bunch of unhappy players

Tall tehnical linkup play and finesse finish.
He is slow, but not slow on the ball.
If he gets to practice his headers and his finish you get one of a kind talent that can steal you victories. We never had a player to kill games while we are clueless as many other clubs had in the past.

Kounde and Eric are not quick enough to play full back and will be exposed by elite, quick wingers.
Real weakness in the team that you could perhaps overlook if there wasn't a replacement staring you directly in the face.
And that man is Daniel Munoz who is rumoured to be available for as little as 20-30m. For that price you don't even need to sell Kounde to make Munoz's purchase a sensible one.

Too many experiments can lead to disaster.
We have only 2 transfers that walked the talk, Cancelo and Rodri, the rest are overhyped or hopes. I don't think another hope in attack will work. Woltemade made sense with Ferran, two opposite players, one with a huge potential.
I still think Gordon was not needed, waste of money that could have been invested in talents, especially if we finally buy some proper midfielders. I don't see Gordon playing under a Cruyff fanatic in the future.

Need an experienced, quality CB more than anything else imo. Our forwards can score well enough.

The answer isn't "oh we just need to press better". You cannot physically press like maniacs for 90 minutes. Elite teams can also deal well with pressing and find themselves with acres of space as soon as they break a press.

We need a goal scorer up front more than anything. With Flick's system, we will be giving away goals no matter how good the defense is. This team wins or loses by outscoring the opposition.
Ehm... we got sent home from CL twice by inferior sides. Flick's system is one of the things needing upgrades. Let's not shape the squad around Flick's obsessions.
