Atlético de Madrid

In Germany we say a hit dog will bark.

No, Atlético de Madrid would never do something like that. However, in recent months, we’ve been suffering a smear campaign against one of our players. Leaked information with ulterior motives, 'fake news,' constant disrespect, the culé version of the propaganda machine inventing little stories, calls before direct matchups... But of course, it wouldn’t occur to us either to have the referees’ vice president on our payroll or to resort to political favors to register players. RESPECT and VALUES.

Suddenly I am less sad for the two CLs Real won against them.

Now I really hope we get Alvarez and he scores a hat-trick against them.

They're accusing Barca coordinates the "leaks" about Alvarez, as if Laporta has Fabrizio under his control. What nonsense. And the easiest thing to do would be an Alvarez statement about these lies and everything calms down. But with their childish behaviour, they just heat things up even more.
When the club leaks information, journalists spread it. Let's not pretend Barca is immune to that; if anything, it's Barca's specialty.

I said it, they have the best source at home. They want the rumors to ridicule? Just let Alvarez say one word: "lies" and it's over. Their fabricated outrage accusing Barca without any evidence just achieves the opposite.

Shit club.

Their social media antics have put the nail in the coffin for me.

We will be back to dominating them next season

Personally I wouldn't deal with them after not playing Griezman to void their buy clause, and then forcing Griezman to say Atleti or nothing.

Apparently they are trying to sign Greenwood.

He's a scumbag but he'll be a PERFECT tactical fit for them. Been saying this for ages.

Sporting CP president Frederico Varandas has rejected a proposal from Atlético Madrid for the Lions' captain, Morten Hjulmand. "It is far below the amount we want. We have set a fair price that reflects his age, his position, and the fact that he has been at Sporting for three years."

Atleti low-balling other clubs. They would never do that, would they?

SCP should just say "clause or nothing".

When is scaloni gonna come and get this job @soul24rage

I need him to save la Liga from another waste year by simeone. Argentina will be fine after him
Seems like Scaloni will be staying as the Argentine coach until 2030.

If he's ever going to club football, I have a hunch that he will want to go to Mallorca as he has a house there and went to several game there in the past few years.

So I say maybe 2034

Atleti will sign Hjulmand and Kang-in Lee, both for around 40m.

They also have a deal in place to sell Almada to River Plate after the WC.
