He also was part of the greatest midfield tandem in the history of this sport alongside Xavi. Nowadays, after retiring in 2024, he is undergoing a coaching course with the Asian Football Confederation in the UAE.

Back when China was the it destination and everyone was flocking there, he went next doors to Japan. Now that Saudi Arabia is the hotspot, he’s off to Dubai.
