Reckon he's our prime target for center back position.
 
Honestly dont want him, if he is costing anymore than 50m.

Would have love to go for Shlotterbeck, but heard he's renewing. Stupid of him, and hoping its just a rumour.

He will cost closer to 80m. One of Inter's franchise players and leaders, despite the bad press recently. They never sell their top players under market value and I don't see us having enough ffp margin for such a fee + considerable salary.
Maybe with a good sale, but under normal circumstances we shouldn't be able to afford him. We also shouldn't blow our entire budget for him, as he's not prime Pique.

I would take him as loan + option to buy like Rashford. Bum warning is on high alert.
 
There are rumors that he also likes the club and is open to coming here. That’s another factor why the club might try to sign him (easier to influence players that actually take pride in the club).

I doubt other CB’s are as enthusiastic about Barca as they are for RM
 
If we can get Bastoni we should sign him. He is not perfect but he is ten times better than Martin or Araujo. I agree he single-handedly killed Italy against BIH. However, one mistake should not define the player regardless of how big that mistake was.
 
He was really poor against Como yesterday, too slow on the ball and didn’t look like he had any desire to play. What concerns me most is his lack of explosiveness off the mark, which makes him struggle in one-on-one situations.

He's been poor in recent months.

Barça need to target a more athletic/physical profile to compliment Cubarsí who can be the more assured/calm line breaking defender.
 
Jhon lucumí is apparently plan B if Bastoni deal doesn't work out. Anyone know anything about him? I prefer a low-cost athletic defender with some experience.

He needs to work on his positioning. He's too reliant on his road runner speed. He is elite at carrying the ball forward, and his recovery speed would be very useful for a high line. He's not outstanding aerially for his height, but that's not as much of an issue in Spain.

His availability is a concern. He has suffered with injuries during 2 of his 3 seasons at Spurs.
 
The thought of signing this guy for 60m+ gives me a headache. What a moronic transfer it would be. Let's just get the hyped defender from the side that was dicked around by Bodo Glimt to attempt to win the CL. Hahaha.
