Yep. Sporting will only sell for 80M release clause. Not to mention when Brugge are probably willing to sell Tresoldi for 50M, and he'd be a way bigger upgrade even now than him, not to mention almost a decade younger than Suarez.

The issue with Tresoldi is that he looks rather soft at the moment. Suarez is grittier.

Like comparing Godts/Nusa to a seasoned pro like Gordon if that makes any sense.
 
Keep it cool and don't fall into blind actionism. I am sure we can survive with our current frontline. It's not optimal, but workable.

Tresoldi is young and unproven... would much rather develop Hamza than bring in another striker to develop

Guirassy is really not that good. A proficient goalscorer but I have major doubts about his technical quality.

And I put Havertz in tier 1. Because Lautaro would be better than him but Havertz also would be a very good signing
 
I have a feeling it will be between Gyokeres and Guirassy if Alvarez is OUT.

It depends if Alvarez will be available in the winter transfer window.

If alvarez is ok for the winter tranfert window go for Gyokeres if not go for Guirassy.

Reading these names it's probably best we don't get anyone. We don't need a new Braithwaite who we won't able to get rid of when they flop. Save the money or get a CB and try out Rapha, Gordon, Adeyemi, Olmo and Fermin as strikers and play the one who will look best.
 
Just take a chance at Osi - Gala are fucking bleeding money, they shouldn't be able to afford him.

Gala probably playing hard-ball to get as much moolah as possible, but window is closing in 9 days and they must feel the heat now.

I mean, how hard would it be to make him a "normal" part of the squad? Or is he a fucking psychopath/sociopath? :lol:

Workable, maybe, but we are aiming to win the CL, in that light, having Anthony Gordon and Hamza as the 2 main strikers going into the season seems very questionable.

Hamza is not even a first teamer. It surely is unprecedented for a team like Barcelona to be going into the season without a single first-team centre forward on the team fullstop, without any injuries. We created an artificial crisis at CF.

I think it is a huge risk to just assume we can pull that off, and I think it will cause problems in the season. We lost a lot of goals at CF with both Ferran and Lewandowski leaving and I don't think we can replace them like that.

Only top option left and fits the profile with his physical presence and someone who is lethal in front of the goal. Also ideal for Flicks intense, vertical system.

What we are essentially talking about with the names mentioned are squad players for 60m+. A bit more depth would be nice, but I don't think they would be the deciding factor for a CL win. No way any of these guys would be starters.

We have a worldclass midfield and worldclass wingers. That already goes a long way. Just sign a LCB. That's what I plead for. Much easier way to significantly improve our chances in CL.
