Player is very high quality for the price, much higher technical quality and a better fit than Woltemade or types like that. His fitness is the key to the transfer. His fitness has to be good enough for him to press at a high level.

I'm not so concerned about the talk of his fitness or injury history, this is a genuine WC attacking talent who is at his best in a system like Flick's Barça and is no doubt ready to come in hitting the ground running

The media reported it a little differently, making it seem like he had no idea, which I doubt. Maybe his words can be interpreted a little differently, that he was surprised that it happened.

He was surprised that we had the opportunity to get him (meaning the transfer to go through),
he also says VERBATIM "I love him" "i really like him" "he fits our style"

But looking at injury list, there is no way it will change.

Hope so we have some clause in contract if he is injured all the time, we can ditch him after season or two.
