Aye but Pedri names Frenkie as one of his favourite players of all time... so there is that.

I am sure Frenkie is gutted to miss out here.

Likes of Raphinha and Yamal must be truly gutted to have 'no personality' also.

Missed the best players out other than himself... while naming shite like Casado.

Doesnt mention his best mate Ferran either.

Mainly players he wants to take piss out of and Flick.

Dumbest of yanks strikes again.

One thing I have seen both Pedri & FDJ glaze each other. Atleast FDJ does a fair few times.

I distinclty remember last season, when Yamal & Raphinha b'dor question were given to FDJ, he aslways said Pedri is also there so he should be on top too.
I like it. This is the type of personality I want in my team.
 
If the Spanish players don't up their game big time they are gonna be in trouble even vs Austria.

For one of the top 3 favorites, they look all over the place. All highly rated midfielders have been mediocre at this tournament so far. The attackers stole the entire show.

I called it way back in the World Cup thread.

I think people are overhyping Spain rn. Great team but Yamal isn't completely match fit and Rodri is past his best.

Most teams look uninspiring in midfield, but almost all big teams have fitter and more in form attackers. If front 3 is gonna decide the winner Spain don't have much claim to the title. France can win it in these conditions with the great firepower they have.

Stop the gimmick of Merino or Pedri at 10.

Just keep Pedri double pivot and start Ohlno at 10 and see them cook. Stupid bald fucker

Austria doesnt play Low block, they will try to control the game. Its a good matchup for spain, I think so.

Low blocks are this team's Achilles heel, hence IMO they will do good.

Austria is extremely physical and presses very agressively. Messi had his worst game against them despite scoring two goals and Austria never allowed Argentina to take control of the game. Spain’s problem isn’t low blocks or high pressing team imo. Its their lack of goal threats without Yamal. They aren’t aggressive or great in set pieces, they don’t have pace. I don’t think there is one single player with pace on Spain’s squad. And they aren’t physical enough.
