A key figure in Spain winning World Cup. Based on the reactions after the game he must have really gotten under the skin of certain Argentine players. :gavi:
 
Best thing that happened for Spain was him being so shit in first game he never played another meaningful minute.

Should never have been in the squad really he is miles off their other midfielders and others in La Liga were better than him.
 
Due to fact he was dropped.

They would been out early had he played.

He has started 5 World Cup games for Spain.. they won once.. v Costa Rica.

Thankfully DLF realised his error.
 
No no Gavi is 'generational' and 'more important' than Pedri dont you know.

Then again same folk thought Casado the answer and Romeu.
 
Looking forward to seeing more of Gavi this season. Flick is a believer.

If nothing else, then just to see you lot spazz out whenever he does.

He's turning himself into a mascot.

Starting to seem like he is happy just giving tons of interviews and getting into scraps on the bench, as long as he can ride with the team.

That's not competitive spirit... that is someone who's enjoying the fame.

I don't know, but I really think he is not the same guy since he came through, the fame and the admiration have gone to his head, and he's forgotten why he is here in the first place, because he once showed a lot of promise on the field.

He played well in the vast majority of games since he's come back from a serious injury

Did you see? He literally gave like 10 different exclusives during this World Cup.

What kind of player does that in the middle of the World Cup? Pretty much all of them are focused on actually playing and preparing for the games and only talk to the media when they have to.

And talking about how he wants to score a bicycle kick against Argentina... whilst he isn't even playing...

Say what you want, its obvious where he is going, no other player in this WC, certainly not in the Spain team, spoke to the media as much as he did.
 
This is so far off the mark, I can't even give it the mental bandwidth required to respond.

Like I said he's played well in the majority of games he's played coming back from 2 injuries.

That will only continue text season
