Kounde making two errors and not being as good as Cubarsi isnt anything positive for Kounde.
Kounde should have been sold last summer when stock higher.
Just isnt not a very good defender at RB and not very good on ball to play there at this level either.
Poor 1v1, slow footed and average at best on ball. Can have some good moments when has time but suffers when pressured.

You are overrating Cubarsi jam (both), he is having a decent season overall, far better than last year. But very few would consider him one of the best in the World, unless it means top 20+ CB.
And his error in first leg is the worst among all our defenders, no one should be blamed more than him in this tie. Especially when he has done exactly the same last year.

The system fail before him vs atletico.
Martin & Garcia also fucked up more than him for the 2nd goal. Two defenders couldn't cover 1 man on a nothing burger cross.
By the time he's 21-22 he's be widely considered the best defender in the world most likely.
Already at least top 10 now.
