10 players on a position are quite a lot. Being rated at 10th best on a position or something is not major credentials for Barcelona main role.
 
There will be plenty of coaches that look at how Balde carries the ball from deep, dribbles, transitioning the play from defence to attack and think to themselves they can mould a great player out of him.

After all he is still super young and has already been a key member in winning a lot of trophies.

He is far from a bum, and has had many standout games here, particularly before his injury.

But when you think that you could sell Balde and go and buy Munoz and Salinas, effectively covering our full back positions for the next 4 years, and have spare change left over, it's a no- brainer from me.

Why they don't consider it is a mystery.
 
When people say we want to sell Balde, it doesn't mean dumping him for Pau Victor price lol. 10-20m is for players not good enough for first team, not players who started many games like Balde. Come on now... apples and oranges here.
 
Rumours Villa offered 40m earlier in the window.

I doubt we sell Lamine's bro though.

But getting 50/60m GBP with Salinas in might end up alright.

Balde has huge potential but has stagnated, and has suffered injury issues every season.
 
We're fucking things up, we could have had even Pep Chavarria who would be a huge upgrade over Balde - he went for under 20m to Chelsea.
Moves would have been done already if we wanted him gone, so he'll stay at least this season which imho is a huge mistake.

Edit: Chavarria reminds me a little of Alba.

If he fetches 40m+ then go ahead be my guest and sell him.

But I dont think a club will pay more than 30m for him. And even thats a stretch.
For that sum, I would rather we keep him.
At worst, he can be a backup, and a much better backup than most team have.
At best, he can rediscover his spark and be counted into the top 3 LBs.

Would be stupid to sell him when a LB would cost 20-25m and it wont be a sure bet anyways.

Dude can't even cross the ball into the box, 8/10 end up in the stands - nah man...
 
Only things he got going for him is his speed and that he can carry the ball sometimes, that's it - rest is average at best, there are 5-6 better left backs in LL alone...
 
This dude is our weakest link right now, he isn't even good enough as backup - most annoying Barca player at the moment, I get so fucking frustrated watching him play.

Of course he isn't a bum, that's hyperbole.
But he's not good enough for Barca, he's so far from for example Alves or Alba level it's not even funny - hell even Belletti and Ardriano would run rings around him. Imo he isn't worthy even of a backup place, he's one-dimensional af.
 
Some rumors United want him. This is a golden chance. If we don't take it we'll sell him for less than 20 a year from now or let him go for free 2 years from now. Come on Deco, continue the good work.
