He needs to play. Shouldn't be wasting a season as our off the bench option when he could get solid LaLiga2 minutes.
So far I really like him, but it should be unnecessary that he is an A team option this season.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. Players' performance are also tied to the positions they play in and the qualities they have. Same player might work in a position, and then you'd see his output drop if you ask him other things.
Ferran is a Spanish striker. The winger stint was to get some minutes.Generally, I would agree.
But if no poacher is signed, and if Flick is convinced with Hamza (big if) it is better to get 1.2k minutes with first team on Barca than 3.5k in Liga 2
Ferran the winger played number 9, so did Gordon, while Adeyemi the striker moves to wings in BVB, Raphinha the RW played better at LW, and Dembele the winger played his best as no9.
The idea that position in attack is so rigid is ridiculous.

Wouldnt be surprised if Gordon outscores Ferran tbh.
Yep. His last CL campaign is a good indicator. Think he has goals in him. Pace, workrate and physicality are all miles better than Ferrans. At False 9? Highly unlikely.
It's not that the position is rigid, but the qualities of the players lend themselves to false 9 role or not. Ferran's do. Gordon? No way. Adeyemi, improbable, but decent shot.
You seem to believe any player can just be moved from the wings to false 9 just like that.
I believe players are far more flexible than fans give them credit to. I've witnessed players like Mascherano and S.Roberto change their positions and fans refusing to believe it for 8 years.
Ferran was just like Gordon, and fans were resistant to the idea the same way, but now fans are acting like he is a true striker.
You are delusional if you think that Gordon and Adeyemi weren't signed with taking Torres minutes at 9 in mind.

I get what your're saying but wr signed them to replace Rashy and Roony.

I said itafter Adeyemi announcement, anyone who believed that is delusional.
So, between the lines, we overestimated the club's ambitions, and signings we thought were gonna upgrades for the wings are actually downgrades on Lewandowski and Ferran?
