He looks pretty tall on the pitch. Idk if he really is. From his build you would not expect an elite dribbler. But I hope he is and he will show that soon

Couldn't care less for his performance. Just a small detail I noticed. We will see him later when he sets in and starts training a little
 
To be honest his debut was surprising even as a sub rather than a starter, simply lacked the level

Even surprising because of how tepid the performance was overall. Hard to imagine Flick instructing the player to go slow or be a bit casual on the ball - at times he appeared to just stroll rather than make any incisive movement you’d expect from any winger. Surely that had to have disappointed Hansi or perhaps that was intended as a demonstration to develop his game quite a bit yet before 1st team

If he’s rusty, ill or not quite fit why play him at all? Starting with a lot of negative media scrutiny is a tough one to turn around
 
Raw as fuck, might even be rusty as fuck.

This should stop any rumours or speculation of him being registered with the 1st team. He goes straight to the B team.
We'll see in Jan, if not next summer what he's made of.

Don't be a bigot and judge a player by 30 mins in a pre-season friendly... way too quick to justify your worldview. It's the opposite of the scientific method matey
 
Let the kid develop in peace. That's why we don't sell players for good money, that's part of the reason. Some bad games and we already shite on our own players, including in the press.

Madrid keeps Malcom and sells him for 60m easily in EPL. We have had quite several players who could have sold for at least 10-20m more than we ended up selling on.
 
Deco is a fucking genius for bringing this gem. Huge potential and can see him link-up with Adeyemi, Raphinha, Lamine, Olmo.

Man, couldn't they just play again tomorrow.

Ok, this guy has position and can finish. I don't know if he is a good winger but he did good with every touch.
