Yes, but I have seen most top keepers like Courtois, and Alisson get nasty injuries in the past. And in this situation, you can't pin down your entire season's worth on a filler 2nd keeper. Too costly.

We can agree on that. However I am not sure you would be happy with Livakovic playing more than five games during the season.

Always plays better for NT, his career was going downhill so this transfer is a suprise, probably related to Olmo transfer shenanigans

I'm not aware of him but it's great news we also have a backup keeper.

Going onto the season with only Szczesny as a backup is a bad plan. God forbid Joan Garcia is injured long time , our season might be cooked.
 
If we keep tek and just pay him for vibes for another year, the board deserves some criticism for it.
 
Well if we didn't sign him now we would be in trouble. As many of us predicted Tek is finished and can't be relied on.

He had really good games in World Cup.
 
Decent debut, considering he has been with the team for only a month and had to play suddenly in a difficult match.
 
Couldn't do anything on the goal, saved the few easy shots without any fuckups. Did his job.

Joan injury was never a big deal. Our keepers don't get tested that much anymore and international break is due so he will recover.
