25 - Dominik Livaković

I often write bad about a lot of Croatian players but Livakovic is one of the best ones.

On 75% of matches, he is saving our asses and making wonders.
But on 25% of matches he is conceding every shot.

He is something like Mats from his best days here.
He is either a Man of the match or is conceding easy goals.

But inspite of some easy goals, both Croatian NT and Dinamo Zagreb are like 30-50% weaker without him.

His best skills are reflexes and pure shot stopping.
He is average with passing.
And weak at corners and crosses.

Also, he is never frozen like Mats.
Livakovic jumps like a cat on every shot, unlike Mats-the handball type of a goalkeeper.

Just saw some reports in Croatian media (24sata) that Dinamo wants only 2 year loan so deal is off

Not sure how true, hope it's bs. But we can get Remiro next summer I believe. Not really a big deal if this one doesn't go through

"Not even Martinez".. You take one example and make it a rule. What are you, 8 y.o.?

My point was different anyway but you're too stupid to grasp so let me draw it to you: Livakovic would need to play regularly to keep the NT No1.
So he's either too good for a bench role here or just wants to play regularly to keep his spot for Croatia? Make up your mind already.

This is one of the most biased player descriptions I’ve ever read. He’s terrible with the ball at his feet and dreadful when dealing with crosses. The main reason he ends up in so many one-on-one situations is that he basically never leaves his goal line. He’s nowhere near Mats at his best, and there’s a reason he wasn’t the first choice at either Fenerbahçe or Girona. Even if we limit the comparison to Croatian goalkeepers, Danijel Subasic was levels above him.

And Barca still has only ONE keeper that can be used and relied on.

Wtf are they doing?!

Tek should've been kicked out of the club long ago, he's a ticking bomb of a GK.

Finally. Our new 9.

Haha, I always wondered if there's a rule in football that stops us from subbing in a keeper and giving him a striker role. Like put him on without gloves and use him as striker late in games. Don't think it is.

Isn't he starting Croatian NT keeper? He's quite good for a back-up keeper, not that I complain. Our squad is closing in on eliminating all known issues from the past. Maybe LCB next.

For a backup he is OK, no doubt about that.
