20 - Dani Olmo

Yeah, I don't get the hate he gets.
He isn't some Zidane or De Bruyne for sure, far from it. He is still solid contributor overall and had 16 goal contributions in each season here despite missing time with injuries. AM is probably the only position I feel we have two players that are quality, even if neither is the top of this position.
He’s still an injury prone player

30% increased minutes this season yet nearly identical numbers to the previous season where he played less. I agree he is a clutch performer when he is out there and had a very crucial increased form late into the season

Severely underrated on here. Don't think we'd have issues getting our money back and I'd wager top clubs would be in for him.

The question is if it's worth it for the FFP purposes. He's on standard wages, this was only his 2nd season here. I guess not.

Which big club doesn't have an injury prone player? Or several one for that matter?

Unless you manage minutes the way PSG does, thanks to their depth and farmer leafye, every club will have 3 or 4 of those and you have to live with it.

Sorta had time to reflect on the season and I think a lot of fans are sleeping on him. Was a big contributor to this season's La Liga title.

I am respecting his qualities more and it's something that is very unique to this team: He has this weird ability to bring total control to the AM/outside the box area of the pitch which is very useful during chaotic matches.

I think he's a little weak physically which is obviously not good for CL KO stages when you're up against a Bayern, Chelsea, Inter, etc, but has plenty of qualities that are very useful for LL.
I think he actually put on some muscle last couple of months. Nah Olmo has been performing well for us second half of this season, if he continues like this we're good (y)

Seen rumours about him possibly leaving but can't see it honestly.

Improved on his last season and with less injuries too so positive outlook all around.

He's always my first sale for like 80M (usually to Inter) when I start a brand new career mode save on FC 26, to make room to then bring back Messi for peanuts until he retires.:pep:
The Gods must've finally seen the light. :mou:

People don't understand what Olmo brings and that is ok. Anyone who watches Olmo can see how he is actually superior to Fermin as a TEAM player. While Fermin is much superior in the stats department. Everyone knows Fermin for the most part is developing and Olmo is a finished product. But at the moment give me Olmo when it matters most as the 10

I agree with you...

Who can we even replace him with then? It will probably cost more than him.
We don't need to replace

Gavi can play 10, Alvarez can play 10, Yamal can play 10, Rapha can play 10

If Fermin is injured we would have options. And he is not so often injured

Olmo is a really good player and I don't think he should be sold. If we need to sell for defense reinforcements, first on list are Kounde and Balde. But after them, probably Olmo
