Deco doesn't want to overpay for him. Al-Hilal didn't even register him for the league last season and now because Barca is interested, they act like he's an important player for them. Barca made him important again, so playing it cool and let them sweat is the right thing to do.

I don't even understand their demand of a fee to be honest.
They didn't register him for the league last season and they don't plan to now because they have all the foreign slots already filled. They're just paying him his salary and that's it. Not registering him for the league should be reason enough to terminate the contract, even legally if needed be in front of a court, no?
