Let me put it this way. If I am right now to pick 2 PSG players from the current side to start for 2011 Barca which is the benchmark of greatness in my book, I take Nuno Mendes and Kvara. The rest have zero chances.
To expect Gordon to be at that level is ridiculous.
Kvara, Olise and Yamal are in a league of their own compared to other wingers. There is no way you get any of them below 200m in this market. Probably much more than that as well

Goals will come. He’s a solid finisher and decent shooter from mid-distance. Him being labeled as an assist-first type of player is a knee jerk reaction.

Mal obviously didn't mean him literally and those two were both signed for 80m or less and we signed Gordon before the market went crazy so don't come with the ramsay went for 100m+ because I know that's going to be the come back.lol
He clearly means a player of that profile, which for 80m is 100% out there somewhere with some good scouting. Gordon just impressed flick when we played vs Newcastle so we went for him.
Someone who does the running of Gordon, but has more individual quality.
Not saying Gordon is a bad signing just to be clear.

Kvara's profile doesn't exactly grow on trees. He is an elite dribbler and an even better runner
Maybe there are some random kids in ligue 1 that fit this profile and are cheap. And maybe already next year that kid will explode
But clearly Flick wanted a proven and experienced player. So if you think there is a player who fits all these criteria, you have to give us his name. Not "he's out there"
We signed Bisiwu and he is a work in progress. But we are not gonna sign guys like Bisiwu to rely on them in first team. Already have enough teenagers

Gordon has the right attitude, mentality and personality and he showed that since he walked into the club's museum, he proved it in his playtime. That makes me to believe that he will be better and better willing to learn everything and sacrifice for the time, is the right piece for sure. He will score a lot of goals, in this system every attacker can score.
Maybe we lost some parts from our ethos, but that was happening since Sandro Rosell's tenure and the last nail in the coffin, as we all know, was Bartomeu..
We had all the pieces to dominate football since 2009 (and also keep all our values and the rights and everything and prosper in financial terms) up until now, but the leadership fucked it up, right now we're getting back on track how we can, how it's possible, but it's not the time to blame the club..
They had to do a lot of compromises, few really bad and I don't know if they we're necessary, but a lot of them we're done to clean the mess that others did.
We are where we are .. but you gotta admit that we back as a club, if we win another LaLiga, finish the stadium and keep Flick for another 3 years (I hope as long as possible), we really back back, UCL contenders every year. We dodged a bullet, maybe ten years of failure easily, if it wasn't for Laporta, Alemany, Xavi and Hansi and La Masia of course. Thank God, we're not in Man Utd, Juventus, AC Milan .. situation.

Nah. He played in the position of Messi as False 9. Dembele doesn't start in any Barca CL side, not ahead of Eto'o, and not ahead of Suarez in 2015 either.

He switches and can also play wing. PSG's attack changes position a lot; Villa wasn't an out-and-out winger. This Dembele definitely benches him
For the UCL, he's more clutch than Suarez, without a doubt (with more goals already in the UCL), but I still wouldn't start this Dembele in that 2014/15 squad with Neymar, Suarez, and Messi ( they were something else that season and could do everything so well). I'll start this version ahead of Suarez in the other seasons from 2016 upwards
