I'll add to that his brain. We laud about natural football ability but natural Footballing intelligence is a lost art.

In a world of the mechanical wingers being churned out yearly from [especially] British academies, it is great to see intelligent players make it here and Barcelona still being a breeding game for that brand of football- despite the era of physicality having taken over.

It's funny that you mention physicality when that's one of his biggest assets and gets him out of trouble. For example he isn't as technically gifted on the dribble, but kicking the ball past opponent and running faster than him helps him a lot.

Absolutely. I was going to add the caveat that he has that too (and in abundance given his top speed and engine), but that it is his footballing brain that makes him perfect for Barca.

You can't be an Abde, Saka, Ngumoha, etc here. Despite all having better ball skill and one-on-one for example.

Being sad that Barca didn’t activate Rashford clause shows you have zero ball knowledge. I was the happiest man on earth. Overrated player. It shows, no other club dared to touch him after we sent him back. Says everything.

Gordon is twice the player and a very humble hardworking guy.

Felt bad for his story wanted him to succeed and redeem his career with us. I liked the guy.

Gordon was the right choice, tho..

Rashford would have been wanted by most teams in Europe if it wasn’t for his wages. Nothing to do with his ability.
