16 - Rodri

His good shot from range can be a big bonus. Too often I've seen Pedri and De Jong not taking a shot despite being basically invited to do so.
 
Do we know when is he going to make his first appearance ?

Maybe as a sub in 2nd half against Rayo ?

Would be nice to see the crowd cheer as he comes into the pitch
 
He smirked as well and actually highlighted how Rodri could’ve helped vs Elche, effectively exposing Bernal’s insufficient level thus far
 
Bernal was bad.. Gavi was far far worse.

Even Pedri with Bernal last season had to play the deeper role a lot and restrict himself as Bernal struggled to progress the ball to him and others.

Long way to go.
 
I guess he'll need 3-4 weeks to get back in form, as he had no pre-season. He's only training with the team since Monday.
 
I think he'll have some adapting to do also. Flick is not exactly like Pep. There is more verticality, less control. It's not exactly 1 to 1 match to slide in like at City or Spain. The idea is to help us gain more control, and for him to make an effort to be more vertical also. Find a common ground without altering our system too much.
 
Eh I didn't like his performance best but most certainly the last player we should worry about.

The only way he can fail is if he's incompatible with the team tactically or if his fitness doesn't permit him. First I think we are safe from, second we should hope, like with any player, doesn't happen.

His discipline, the IQ to adapt to everything Flick demands, the ability to connect with all Barca players and command on the pitch, his ability on and off the ball... all of this is unquestionable by now.
