60m deal agreed for Reindeers to Saudi. Hopefully he rejects the deal as he wants to stay in Europe.

Put more pressure on City to close Rodri for 5-10m lower than their imaginary evaluation.

City have over 200m+ in tabled bids for mids so I'm pretty sure we will get this over the line....
 
Just just pay up atp. City are totally fine keeping him for another season and losing him for free, they don't need the money and no player on the market is anywhere near as good as Rodri.

We also won't be signing a top striker this late so not like the budget is an issue. Alvarez is in prison, Osimhen no interest and Inter aren't going to sell Lautaro a week before the season kicks off.
 
Really want this transfer to happen. We need more storylines in La Liga.

Also it will be fun to see Monte's reaction to the transfer. 😁
 
If Deco fucks this up because of a couple millions, a sum that is half what our backup CB gets yearly in his wage...

We somehow get a chance to get one of the best itw who fits us perfectly in a position we lack players and on top of that for a discount price because his contract is ending and we still fuck around.

Same shit as Nico and Alvarez, Deco can't close big deals with big names.
 
The deal is a close in a sense that club is confident to get it done.

But obviously it is not close in a sense it will be finished soon. It has been "close" for almost a full week now.

Fabrizio explained it many times in his videos, it is more of a continuous discussion between the clubs on determining the price than traditional transfer bidding where offers are sent and denied/accepted. Because the relationship between Barça and City is excellent

If that is true then it's easy to see why this takes so long. The room for bargaining is much bigger here and there is no real fear that one of the clubs will back out because of 5-10m difference that is being argued.

So logically speaking it is very likely that they will find a compromise rather than that one of the clubs will get pissed and walk away without warning. I think this is why they say the deal is close.
 
Read the total cost of his transfer including fee, bonuses and salaries could reach 210M, that sounds like a lot for a 30 year old.
