16 - Fermín López

The huddle when Lewa was being subbed was embarrassing.

Firm hand shake and off you pop.

Honestly it felt fake and performative by some of the players.

Looked perfectly natural. All in your head.

Frenkie though. Even his position is fake. Can't be a DM as he's weak and a coward to get stuck in.
Not even in his dreams could replicate what Fermin produces as attacking midfielder.

Basically needs Pedri to babysit him in central midfield where he can be an alibi player who brings the ball forward with his feet as a parade horse unable to see beyond his face.

This is how you prove your iq is single digit

First, Lewa absolutely is legend of the club. Arrived here when we were fucked up and won 3 titles in 4 seasons. Top 10 in club's history by goals. Mentored a new young generation

Second, do you think Eto'o should have been given a proper farewell? If so, then why you complain now when we are giving it to a guy who deserves it? Do you repeat the mistakes you made every time because you did it before? This is the kind of reasoning we see on barcaforum, no logic just pure bs
Aye, Lewandowski is a charity now. Get the fuck outta here, ya clown.

Club legend Lewandowski :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Nah dont agree.

Gavi should learn to pass ball forward and less fake tears.

Learn to move forward with ball be a start also.

But yeah you are right. Casado is world class.

True hard man as you said.

what a dummy malvolio to compare Eto'o situation with Lewa. No one even knew Eto'o was leaving back then. We had just won the treble. No one was expecting that transfer in the media during the season. What did you want the club to do, a farewell in the summer with Pep not showing up because he hated him?

So what? Club legend more than Lewandowski will ever be.

Messi and Suarez got a farewell in off season. As others did.

You can call it "performative" or "unnecessary" all you want but the guy didn't ask anyone to give him this farewell. I'd argue nothing in sports and entertainment is necessary by that token.

The fans, staff and his teammates did it because they admire him. 80% of the squad has great things to say about him. People like Gavi, Rashford and Olmo have always looked up to him.

Barca's young players have learned a lot from him on and off the pitch. Most of the young players have talked about how much he has helped them.

Even as a fan, I never expected him to get so much love and respect yesterday. Even the Betis fans and Isco applauded him.

He's had a remarkable career and people respect it. Deal with it.

He would have made a positive impact for Spain, can't think of any other midfielder that scores more. It is what it is...

I have nothing against his farewell but it's true bigger legends didn't get it but different situations.

I don't think guys like Lewa or Rakitić are legends of the club. Good/great players who contributed a lot but not legends, the bar for that is much higher for me. A club can't have hundreds of legends, you can't call one that for a couple of solid seasons, it loses meaning if that is the case.

He's a legendary European striker.
Goodbye held more weight as he's clearly saying goodbye to top (European) football.
