I couldn't agree more. However we should sign a world class CB or at least a young CB with a world class potential. Another cheap or average CB would be a disaster.
 
Always liked him but he lost a step while he was injured for 2 years. He's not bad but just a bit to slow to react, a little bit late, a little less agile... Wonder how a top CB would react to Xavi's pass, I think he would catch it. It's understandable after such a long time without playing but at his age and injury record it's not a given he'll ever return to form. He should be our 4th CB, not borderline starter.

But Martin is currently close to his max while Christensen is not. Will he ever reach it? I doubt it.

We need a new CB.

Romero would be a catastrophe with us, forget about him - but yeah we have to go shopping for a CB in the winter, hopefully Flick realizes this as well. Sure we could have had a better starting RB or even LB, but we're fucked without a decent CB and I think Kounde/Garcia/Espart/Cancelo can do a good enough job.
 
One of the biggest hype jobs promoted on here. How this guy was rated as a top defender I'll never know. And my take isn't even about yesterday's game. He was mediocre at best, won that CL with Chelsea and barcaforum expected him like the second coming.

Nobody hyped him here I think, but he's a decent enough backup for a backup - but sure in an ideal world I'd like a starting CB to go with Cubarsi and than a better rotation CB than both Martin and Christensen. Martin and Christensen are at best third choice backups...

If anything thinks he shouldn't be the starter especially in important games this season.

He just needs minutes to gain some form and momentum.

Great assist to Raphinha. Saw that run as soon as Raphinha took off and put in on a dime.

A sluggish Barca today. The extreme heat could have had something to do with that as well as his injury.
 
Hope its not major. We really are thin thin at the back.

But with how he was acting when on the bench, it looks serious.
