14 - Karim Adeyemi

Wow that was quick. Got to hand it to Deco this transfer window at least for these 2 incoming transfers. He works in silence and once it leaks it's done in a couple of days, good job. Also a great price and Flick knows him personally so I'm sure he'll fit in. I'm also pretty sure both Gordon and Adeyemi are Flick's choices, they seem like the profile he's asking for instead of lazy bums he had last season.

I think this means we made peace with Alvarez not coming and he's going to be our new 9 competing with Ferran for the starter spot unless Rapha/Tuna leave which could mean Alvarez is still in play. So Gordon, Yamal, Adeyemi are 100% here next season, the question is which 2 of Rapha, Alvarez and Ferran will be here, no chance it'll be all 3.

Flick gets his wishes this window. After Gordon, another fast pace player. Fee is okay for a player, that has potential, but wasn't a big protagonist for Dortmund, had one year contract left and has an injury history.
Will be interesting to see, how he wants to include him. Lamine will definitely be getting more rest this season.

I just hope we'll see and hear as little as possible from his embarrassing "rapper" wife. And let's hope he won't be caught with weapons again.....

I've never been the biggest fan of him, but 20-30m is fair value for him.

He is a good substitute who can cause disruption with his speed but IMO not a player with starting projection.

The other problem is, though, he doesn't stay fit, I think he might end up playing very little.

Perfect signing.

This and Gordon's hugely raises our floor. This is what we need to win the UCL.

Our ceiling is quite high with Lamine & Rapha, now our floor is high aswell. Might aswell say our front line is the best in the world once we get a proper ST/CF

I think we're playing it safe (both Gordon (LW/ST) and Adeyemi (RW/ST/even LW?) are crazy versatile and are able to play in that striker role if we need them too) in case we don't get Alvarez now, so we still have some great options to get through this season and then maybe next season we go for Alvarez again (if he stays at Atletico) or even after a completely new target.

And I like it. Smart plan. Not putting all our eggs in one basket, so we're also not desperate to land Alvarez, so that gives us the option to walk away, if the deal becomes too expensive.

I guess send in that 130M bid after the World Cup, because I think that's happening in any case (but hopefully 120 fixed at most) and maybe get Alvarez to say publicly he wants a move to Barca (not just that he wants to leave) along with it to maximize our chances of it being accepted. But let that be it. Final bid.

Now please focus on the defense until the end of the window, Hansi. Starting with Cancelo, and then maybe that kid Salinas from Racing (a nice Balde backup, who also gives us the option to play Cancelo at RB sometimes) and then of course, at least one proper (L)CB so we aren't depending on Martin, Christensen and Araujo (who will unfortunately simply refuse to leave) in the biggest of games. Maybe also test the waters with Kounde, see if we can at least get a good PL offer (60M) for him, which would really give us a chance of landing a world class CB hopefully.

Something tells me signing Gordon and this guy and alvarez will most certainly mean they about to sell raphinha who will want to drown in cash in Saudia

I would trade Raphinha for those 3….

I like Raphinha but he wasn’t healthy when we needed him last season. He’s currently injured again. He will be 30 in December and Brazilian. Very few Brazilian attackers remain elite past 30.
