12 - Xavi Espart

First team material 100℅ . Liked him in the few minutes he got at end of last season. Didn't watch Birmingham game but I was impressed tonight.
 
Yeah, noone seems to take him seriously and yet he is likely to stay on with 1st team.

He is incredible. Unbelivable. We just gotta handle him well and he could be our long term RB

His size doesn't matter when he is this intelligent
 
He’s a CAM by nature and has been moved into a lateral position to keep him on the pitch, I thought he was far more proactive in the middle of the pitch than Bernal who is less a 4 and more a 6/8

RB? He played in midfield entire time on the pitch. More to the left as well.

He played RB in the other preseason game and was very good

If he can play multiple positions that is good for him. But it's at RB that we need him and he probably has higher chances of making it there

Most great fullbacks can also play in midfield
 
But its true he slid into RB position on occasion, switching with Eric but he was set up sort of in a double pivot with Bernal

Flick loves these sort of players which is clear that both him & Eric will be important this season

If Rodri comes he'll be closer to catch 0 minutes than be important. Eric won't feature in midfield anymore and will settle at RB.

I see little chance for Espart. And I dont even rate Kounde.

But let's wait and see.

Eric will feature on CB plenty especially with Araujo gone and if we don't sign a CB
 
Another insane midfielder prospect in reality, I wasn’t familiar with your game…

We have some great depth in midfield now.

I could also see him being this lively and associative at RB too. He looks ready to play more
 
He will get plenty of playtime when it’s time to rotate and as a sub. One of the best players for Barca tonight.
