: We investigated Vampeta's claims. The root of the issue stems from when Raphinha arrived at Barca. He had tried to buy a mansion worth around 10 million in Barcelona and found out he did not have the funds to cover the purchase ; he and his wife were very confused and thought based on his earnings up till that point, that they would easily cover it.

Raphinha's wife was confused by the situation and began investigating, and eventually found out that 80% of Raphinha's image rights had been going to his father (who acts as his agent). He also took a significant part of his salary, as players' salaries are commonly divided by base wages and image rights compensation from the club.

The situation caused outrage in the family and led to Raphinha severing ties with his father and many family members.

Whilst Raphinha still would keep a significant amount of money in general, it is thought that the missing money made them incapable of keeping up the lifestyle he and his family want.

Despite this it is still understood that Raphinha would not want to go to Saudi Arabia and stay in Barcelona if possible.

And soon we'll hear about how Raphinha's 29th cousin-in-law will come to 'deny' the information and 'challenge' the media on their lies :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

This guy is surrounded by snakes leeching off him, he has a whole entourage full of family members from his dad up till 16th half cousins, who are taking advantage of him. All of whom seem very eager to speak for him.

Is it any coincidence that any time news comes out about his financial problems his 'close' family (and random cousins) around him rush to deny the information, rather than him himself?

There is no smoke without fire... the drum hasn't been banging this loud for no reason. There's way too much noise around this guy and his family for it to be all lies. Saudi have probably been pursuing him in knowledge of this..

Sucks for him but blessing for us. He got injured and now Brazil are out. He can take the next few weeks to rest and recover

Especially because Ancelotti would have rushed him back in the next game, risking a bigger and worse injury preventing him to participate in the pre-season and season start. It was good for Barca, that Brazil was eliminated.

Reports say he wants to stay. Good decision as with only 29 years and 0 CL it makes no sense to leave Barca.

I truly hope he can at least somewhat return to the level he showed in the 2024/25 season, or even to his better performances from last season. Of course, this depends on him finally staying healthy for an extended period.

I have enormous respect for him. For me, he's been the heart of the team ever since Flick took over โ€“ in terms of mentality, character, and commitment.

Let's see. Could also be to keep his fee up. If a good offer 70-80m arrives from the desert, I'm sure Barca will consider it.

Theyโ€™ll always consider it but I do believe club wants his continuity irrespective of injury concerns or his age - his leadership is fundamental so I doubt Flick would sanction itโ€ฆbut money is money

70-80M is in a year or two when he's 30-31. Now the only first offer the club should consider is 100M. This is not Ferran with a year left. No way we should even think about accepting such a low ball offer. We shouldn't sell him regardless, at least not yet.

Imagine letting go Raphinha and bringing in Gordon and coming off with a loss from this switch. Would be terrible . Would fuck up all summer.

They already took his replacements. Two players on the same position. Unless he benches Lamine Raphinha has little left to do.
