Aha,
now it makes sense
Was 100% sure this is a lie propagated by Laporta and the board
With at least a WC fullback, CB and 9 + alright winger backup AND some luck we could win CL for sure. The PSG vs Bayrn match was all out attack and Bayern or PSG will destroy whoever they face in the final - we play the same way with Flick, but we need just a little more quality and backups. Right now if Yamal is injured we can kiss a CL goodbye.I do think winning the CL in the next 2-3 seasons is highly unlikely if we don't make major improvements in the market.
We have amazing players. The problem is the variance in quality is way too high. You have Yamal, Pedri, Frenkie, then you have Araujo or Martin.
We also don't have a natural striker for next season. Ferran Torres is comfortable there but its not the position he's played for most of his career and even though he is good, we'd like better to pair with Yamal and Raphinha.
All of this is coming before the gaps we'd have to fill if we did sell players. We won't be able to make these signings without selling starters, that's the truth.
This is important point. Barca always attracts purely technical players and neglects the muscle. We absolutely need at least 2-3 players with strong physics and thug attitude to allow our magicians do the work without being suppressed. We had that kind of balance in the past both with Rijkard and Pep. Now there's mostly midgets and oafs. The main player who brings testosterone to a team full of estrogens. Other would be Araujo, but he's not a Barca caliber player. If Raphinha leaves, there will be a void because Barca has not seen a player like him like forever.
Balde sucks. Kounde at least is decent, but needs more rest and somebody to compete for his spot. Gavi sucks. Roony sucks. Casado sucks. Ara we don't really need if we get another decent CB.The extremely painful departure is Balde.Except it's not painful.
Probably wouldn't get much for him at this point so doubt it.Maybe the "extremely painful" departure is Gavi, I wouldn't mind.
Nah, I agree - but some might feel it would be painful.Probably wouldn't get much for him at this point so doubt it.
One thing I noticed about him is that he's always crying and whining about something, always with the victim mentality. Journalists talk about me, Xavi substituted me, they didn't give me the Ballon d'or, always crying about refs... Such a fighter on the pitch but a crybaby off it.
. He is not the typical left footed RW who can do wizardry on the ball. Could dumb it down to that we want him to have the ball as little time as possible. Pass, cross or shoot, and keep moving.
