What the hell mate? Except Yamal, he is by far the best player we have in our team. If we had him we would win this tie easily. However, it's not like he injured himself on purpose.

Yes and he's to blame for it. Nearly 30 years old and knowledge of his own body, he takes a fucking friendly game for Brazil serious, while his club is in the hot phase of the season.
This point is overlooked too much in my opinion. He should have known better and for me, it's on the same level of idiocy as Cubarsi's red. We're cursed with stupid players, who cost us CL runs.
Yes, and he was dumb, deserves the criticism.

But have to take the cons with the pros.

I think it'll be really tough for everyone if Madrid signs Olise. That guy is a gem and would instantly upgrade their RW to the max.
He'll cost a ton though, for Madrid or Liverpool and that's if Bayern decide to sell
That's the only saving argument for him. That you either have the mentality to be 100% all the time, or you don't. It's hard to switch on and off that kind of approach. It's embedded in his personality it seems, without any kind of control.
But... in this case... in this particular situation, sorry, but he was an imbecile. And you know I like him and I'm a fan. With him on instead of Rashford, it's an easy tie for us. Even a medium version of Raphinha bags two goals vs AM.

Its easy to say win with him but he hasnt been all that great v Simeone side the past year really.
Same would be said if Pedri out.. would have won with him.
Thats with Barca playing 60 mins+ with 10 mean also.

I stand by that, we had many chances. Many, even in 10 men for huge portions in the tie. That's without him. With him, we would've had even more, and he would find the net for sure.
He's so superior to Rashford and Fermin as a winger-forward... that this is the most likely projection.
AM really didn't play a great tie.

Raphinha hasnt been all that great v Ateltico under Flick.
He didnt score v them last season or the season before dont think so maybe not who knows.
Chances of winning increase more of the better players have but isnt like he has been scoring against them for fun either.

The good thing about him & neves who I also think would improve them massively. Is they play for teams who won't let them go easily.

Real could quite easily raise hundreds of millions to change their team.

Difference was Barca just needed not to lose at home and Frenkie was the best player on the park against them in two games when won v them around then.
Also it was Frenkie AND Pedri missing that team struggled with and when Frenkie out in comparison and Madrid dominated.
Barca were were shocking that 2nd leg v Real and had worst home defeat v them in decades as midfield vanished.
If Raph had starred in away game as Barca won v Atelti then got pumped at home without him I would agree but not the case here.
