Flick should start Ade on the right against Rayo - Yamal needs to chill and find his form slowly, not force himself.

The media will tear both Yamal and Flick apart if that happens.

My main concern is that he might push himself harder than necessary and end up with a new injury.

Blows my mind how people keep fixating on one mistake he arguably made when he was among the best on the field. Like who the fuck cares at this point? It was regular match day, not UCL final. We won. What is there to bitch anymore other than move on and hope his projectory continues to go upwards.

Why? Ade needs minutes in order to gel better with the team - we have to rotate our players to keep them in shape or give the some rest. Who gives af about the media, its their "job" to manufacture drama...

Perhaps Yamal.

I don't know how things work with psychologists at big teams these days but young players who grew up in the current generation which is characterized by intense criticism on social media may find it harder to handle the pressure.

To my eyes he seemed desperate to score against Bilbao.

That one mistake is not the issue, but the overall lack of focus and drive.

Not like give Zlatan/Lewa the penalty kick to break the bad spell voodoo mumbo-jumbo. Lamine's head is somewhere else, not in a great shape. If he used to dribble past defenders on the corner line, now he can't and doesn't even try.
 
He looked better as match progressed, did some magic touches then. He does look mentally a bit off but that is all speculation. Will see after a few more games.

Obviously but in the same time , these are world class players already adjusted to the speed of everything that happens during a game.

If you're 1 on 1 with the keeper and your teammate is next to you with an open net and you decide to shoot , you better score.

Regardless , he was much better in 2nd half , should have had like 2 assists and was unlucky not to score.

Yeah , he is taller now and his dribbling ability might be cooked ( compared to his prime ability )
 
Amazing goal. Needs to work on his passing (and right foot ). So many times a simple cross would have been achievable with a right foot tap.
