10 - Lamine Yamal

Definitely something is wrong with his attitude, and it seems to me something clearly happened with him outside the pitch.

Even flick gave him a pat on the shoulder, which would not happen if he had merely adopted a bad attitude cus he felt like it.

His body language, his facial expressions... ugh, he’s repulsive.

Raphinha—who is ten years older than this pup—is running and pressing hard, while this 19-year-old "princess" is practically strolling. He feels no shame walking around while a guy ten years his senior is running like a madman.

Sell this princess. He’s a ticking time bomb.

Yamal presses a lot. The real princess is Mbappe since his first WC until now he's just "relaxing" watching his mates running like like crazy.

I don't disagree on his sale tho, have been saying that since last year.

If those 200 million are utilized properly the team will improve significantly but i don't think Laporta will dare to do it, at least not now that Yamal is still loved by the media and teenagers.

I've been Super Saiyan Lamine Defender since day 1.

However..........

I can understand being upset about your own performance, that's all fine and dandy. But putting extra effort into your resting bitch face when your team is 5 nil up is just a terrible look.

There is no I in team, Lamine ! :redbeard:

If he thinks he reached Messi's status in just 2 years someone has to break the news to him.
He has always dismissed talks from media trying to put him in the same sentence with Messi.

It’s the media and fans especially here who compare him to Messi and then these same fans get mad when these comparisons happen. Like a dog chasing his own tail.

What is this stupid habit of comparing to the quality of Mbappe's pressing? Even your grandma presses more than Mbappe does.

For Flick’s system to work effectively, every player has to give 100% when pressing. Even a shitty team like Elche was beating our press 7 times out of 10 because that lazy princess didn’t want to run much.

You'll make a thousand excuses just to protect this princess. Even if you spend another five years without the Champions League, you'll do it. The same thing happened with Leo Messi—everyone was to blame except the Argentine and his Uruguayan friend, who ran 5-6 km per match.

This guy disappeared during the World Cup because the princess was running, defending and sacrificing for the team and eventually won the cup

Just waiting for the right moment. Absolute troll. Insane that Tempt got banned and not this chap

Lamine runs and defends plenty. Much much much more than other star players of his level

People are right to point out that he has the potential to go off the rails.
If it happens, it happens. Hopefully we can cash in heavily at least.

Given how young he is and how quickly he became massively popular, he’s handling all of this more than well. It’s understandable that he’ll make mistakes, and it’s great that we have Flick, who is clearly an excellent mentor. You can also tell that he was raised well. Everything he does is being looked at under a microscope.

Every player goes through low phases of their career, it's completely normal. Lamine experiences it the first time now after steadily improving before. Important part is to acknowledge it and work focused and hard to get back on peak.
Arrogance and irritation on the other hand could derail him, if he doesn't watch out. He's psychologically at the crossroads right now and we'll see, what path he takes.

His effort in this video is absolutely horrendous. To point cant hear the mention his name as if telling him to wake up.

Surprised they even put this out.

My assessment: too much fame intoxication in too young an age. Inevitable!
When we were 17 and sneaked into a tavern, you were a pussy, if you did not order two tall mugs of beer at the time. Never mind, that you barfed it all out 1 hour later.
That's why, long term, it is better for a player to move up slow. There were plenty of 16/17 old talents who disappeared into oblivion.
He ain't there yet! That's why a 30 - something year old leader is an invaluable asset to literally spank the spoiled brat for his own good, every now and then.

Can be bcz Baldé can be out of the team.

These guys lives together for many years, in the same team, share the same dormitory. He is one of his best friend.

For all the shit Messi has gotten over the years related to amigos, he only sulked when Suarez was booted out. And that was late in his Barca career. He never requested the club transferred his boyhood friends like Di Maria or Aguero and he didn't make a fuss about Cesc leaving even though they are close.

Not quite.

Messi missed training many a time in a sulk.

He threw his weight around for years at Barca.. did things like following Chelsea online knowing the reaction would get when didnt get his own way.
