10 - Lamine Yamal

I don't see him being any close close to Neymar but if he decides to try something new at 27/28. Can't hold that against him.

As long as he leaves through the front door

Never said anything about joining RMA but his attitude is not the same as the old legends. I can definitely see him joining another club in a few years.

Dinho and Neymar were also professionals in their youth but a little later they didn't really care.

He's a party animal but i bet 99.9% of 17/18/19 year old kids would do the same if they were famous multimillionaires.

He’s not a party animal. Going to/hosting parties is normal for a teenager, and young adults to socialize. I’d say in fact he barely parties because every time he does, the press explodes. He doesn’t drink booze. He simply has a flamboyant and confident personality which is reflected in his playstyle. And despite that he is very grounded.

You raise questions about his attitude, but he's been exemplary so far.... just listen to any random interview. Well spoken, smart guy with his feet on the ground. What's there to criticise? The midget birthday party?

Is he the best teenager of all time? Debatable, since there was a lad called R9 who was half decent !

Is he the most SUCCESSFUL teenager of all time? Without question. And very much doubt we will ever see a teenager as successful as him in our lifetimes.

Most of the stats for today's players are overinflated. Teams are more attacking and there is more time added, plus way more games.

Depends what you're after really. If winning internet arguments is your thing than maybe those stats are important. If you have seen teenage R9, teenage Messi teenage Ronaldo, teenage Neymar or teenage Mbappe playing I guess you can also make up your mind by yourself, without stats.

Yamal clears teenage CR7 and Mbappe out of the water by all metrics. Arguably teenage Neymar too as he was playing against Brazilian farmers in state championships.
 
Definately the most accomplished teenager. Let’s hope he will continue to accomplish trophies and personal awards.
 
No teenager has carried these levels of superstardom ever. Even Pele. TV and advanced technology obviously play a role in this but it is true.

Face of Barça and Spain NT, leading both to a complete revival. Let's just remember these 2 before Yamal arrived lol, misery.

Didn't Mbappe won a title with Monaco against Qatari PSG and was terrorising CL defenses that same season?

It's also a matter of context really. CR and Mbappe didn't emerge from La Masia after Messi and had a free run at a starting 11 spot for Barca. Same goes for Neymar, R9. Even Messi emerged together with a gifted La Masia generation and had to break into a star studded Barca.
Same as Mbappe emerged along with some formidable French talent at NT.

That's an argument for Lamine. He was part of a broke Barcelona rebuild at 16 and he succeeded. That's unprecedented
