The more days pass by, more this looks to be the case.

He was excellent yesterday. As I said in the match thread, if he can produce even 80% of what Cuba has, we have a winner. He looked like an upgrade over Martin.

Cant say much about his quickness or recovery pace, if he is even decent in this front, which Cuba isnt, I think we might have our perfect duo for Flick ball in house.

Can grow alot more somewhere else for a season.

This is Barca. I will never be mad at the club for trusting promising La Masia talents. The more the merrier.

From what I have seen, Cortes can develop into a 50m worth CB just this season.
 
I see more potential in him than martin, significantly more.

This preseason game, and last years Alaves game have shown enough for me to start over Martin. Honestly.

Guy has some serious talent in finding line breaking through balls.
 
I mean considering Martin was the most potential-less prospect we ever had, it is easy to see higher potential in anyone.

Martin is a dedicated soldier though, that got him into a place not even his loved ones ever imagined.
 
To be fair, Martin from accounts helped us reach 1:1.

Cortes on the other hand looks like he could be useful too. Looks like a proper brickie, so maybe he is doubling down in the Stadium rebuild.
