What brilliant games has he had at RB?
Against Newcastle and Arsenal being the man of the match/match winner in both the games.......

Against City recently.

Few more games I'm forgetting.

Dont think he plays RB at a high level at all and isnt going to be playing wide at a high level either
Doesn't matter. If you can play those positions in crucial games against big teams and do a great job as a makeshift solution then you're obviously versatile. You don't need to play like Prime Maicon to be called versatile.

James Milner was extremely versatile. Doesn't mean he was Lahm.

He is an 8 or a 10 really.
Duh!

Against city he was not good.. great FK as said but that is not part of his RB role.

FK v Arsenal was class but again not part of being RB. He would be on pitch to do that regardless.

Nunes was better and he barely even looks like a RB at times either.

He isnt not a RB and is there as have next to no one else.

Is Newcastle a big game? Maybe

He has also been RB as lost to likes of Galatasary and Nott Forrest.

Hungary NT coach claimed Szoboszlai desire to play for real madrid. This is one of the best player in EPL playing for one of the biggest club in the country.
This is indication that proves Barcelona and Real Madrid sits above any other clubs.

It's his desire from when he was a kid. Same can be said about most footballers that they liked one of Barca/Madrid in childhood

For Szobo right now best to stay at Liverpool

Liverpool and Barcelona are at a similar level in terms of stature and club size.

Barcelona are currently more attractive because it's a better place to live and because of the last 20 years being phenomenal and historic. Meanwhile we had our worst period before Klopp came.

Mostly due to recent history and some iconic names like Messi, Pep and Ronaldinho, I'll happily admit Barcelona are currently a slightly bigger club than us. But Liverpool and Barcelona are in the same tier overall. One more CL and we need to have a conversation again. It's very close.

Objectively Barcelona, Liverpool and Bayern are clubs of a similar size/stature fighting for that number 2 spot.

Madrid, Bayern, Barca, Liverpool are the top 4 as it stands.

There is not one facet of football that Liverpool are bigger than Barcelona in, apart from having won 1 more champions league.

Barca has :

More iconic and better player and team history ( Barca's second best team ever would beat Liverpool's first )

Way higher turnover and net revenues. ( Barcelona got 33 percent more revenues playing in Montjuic than Liverpool's highest ever revenue of 700m )

More league titles

More domestic cups

Way more fans worldwide, potentially as much as double the fans.

Way bigger stadium ( Almost double the size )

Way higher average attendance.

Way way higher local fan base ( Around 12 - 15 times the number of Barcelona fans living in Barcelona than Liverpool fans living in Liverpool )

In no way shape or form are the two clubs close in stature. One is Cule and the other in comparison is MinisCULE.

Winning league titles in Spain which has nearly always been a duopoly isn't the same as winning it in England which is far more competitive.

Isn't that the point you guys constantly bring up in Bayern and Juventus debates?

European trophies are a far better metric to judge with level playing field.

A manager like Xavi would never win a PL for instance.

Again, you'll naturally have more social media fans globally because your golden era coincided with the rise of social media. And people like Messi and Ronaldinho add a lot of temporary fans to the club.

Before 2006 (the start of your golden era), Barca had only 1 European Cup/CL in their entire history.

European Cups only mean so much.

There is no one who thinks Nottingham Forrest with x2 ECs are bigger than likes of Arsenal or Man City.

Before 2006 Barca had 1 EC but were huge in comparison to teams that had the same and more and more desireable playing destination.
Forrest have 1 league title.

Liverpool have the joint most league titles, most domestic trophies in England along with the European pedigree, Anfield and the iconic managers, teams and other factors.

Tottenham and West Ham have more stadium capacity than us. Not even their board members think it's more iconic than Anfield.

Clubs like Arsenal (London) and City (money) are very desirable destinations for players too.

Yes and x2 ECs which doesnt make them a huge club.

Celtic have a ton of titles and a EC.

Aston Villa have a EC.

Only means so much.

Even by 2006 when Barca had 1 EC they would have been seen as bigger club to go to and much much more desirable than Liverpool.

Since then probably closer if anything.

He can play for Madrid after he retires, as a LaLiga referee.

I'll put it this way.

If Messi came to Liverpool and played for 4 years under Klopp and won a CL or 2, we would probably have more social media followers and engagement than Barca at that particular point.

Social media fan following is very individual-driven/star-driven.

A Ronaldo or a Messi makes a humongous difference in these numbers.

You are just explaining why we do have more fans and more worldwide engagement than your club

As if it matters

Yes. Messi, Ronaldinho, Neymar, R9 and countless other football all time greats playing for our club played a huge part - no shit. And that's part of our heritage. Why none of them played for Liverpool?
