well you say we should have signed kids like Eduardo or Bisiwu instead of Rashford
They would be adapting and learning this first year. We would have no right to expect them to do what Rashford did so far (win key CL games, step up in league in absence of Raphinha/Yamal)

He's the most important player in big games. Of course he is missed badly. We played AM two times, Madrid two times this season. One with him and one without vs each of the two rivals. The difference was huge. Lost the ones without him, won both with him, with him marking the difference in both wins.

Rapinha fortifies mf with his support in off ball movement and explosiveness.
When on top of not being able to play pedri and Olmo is on pitch with Casado, Raphinha not there is too big of falloff.
Barca will fall way too short of meeting threshold of off the ball movement to substantially increase winning chances.
So even if Raphinha plays bad in terms of chances wasted and contributing little offensively, he is big contributor to not allowing opponent to overrun is and winning ball back more often in dangerous areas.
Loss against Sevilla example of this.
