Folk love to go on about how Pedri and Frenkie defend.

Frenkie has more tackles/interceptions per 90 this season than any other starting midfielder at PSG, Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern, Real and City while Pedri has more recoveries than any of them.

Barca have some of the dumbest fans going.

The way Barca the midfield 2 are as exposed as will get but they do a lot lot more defensively than a lot of folk like to make out.

Good few loose moments and ball stuck under feet particularly in first half.

Was better than Casado though which wasnt hard.

The thing I'm least excited about is his off the ball movement. Many times yelling for him to seize open space in front when a pass was obvious. Seemed rather keen on letting windows close and picking it up in deeper/low-pressure positions.

Not a big issue against Albacete who let us progress without pressure but will be a deficiency against opponents who want to cut us off.

Would rather loan cassado and keep bernal next season at least. Cassado stagnated and needs a loan.

Casado I would either sell or keep as rotation player. Like his personality as a player but doubt he has much more potential in him than what he puts out there.

There is no need to keep Casado as rotation. Have more than enough for that without him.

Also for Barca model relying on La Masia to work for both first team and selling players on there needs to be minutes there available and not keeping players like Casado in squad for largely dead minutes.

Once Gavi bac and CB situation sorted.. hopefully.. this summer then chances for Casado get even less.

Barca at that point for model to work need to move him on for money and give minutes to next one up from La Masia if are any to keep that gravy train of talent/sellable assets coming.

Never showed the Busi level and never impressed like Fati or Gavi.

He basically played few matches and then got injured.

Its clear he will be the bet and better player than Casado in that more defensive role.

How good he goes on to be remains to be seen and how deals with that big frame.

Will need to improve his range of passing for it to work though.

I think it's too soon to judge him and I agree that his few matches last season got overrated here. I don't agree he's crap though.

I know. It's the same people who seriously claim Balde is world class, Cuba is Puyol.

They are doing a massive disservice to these kids.

A lot of Barca youngsters get massively over rated.

Likes of Puig/Casado and to extent Gavi for what has shown get massively over praised also.
