English got more fluent. He speaks spontaneously now...No more searching for expressions or words. A little bit of work on the pronunciation and he can be a soccer expert on ESPN or whatever else there might be in Euro networks.

It is quite a feat to learn yet another language when you're in your 30s and as busy as he is.

I hope Hansi will give him a full rest before tough matches and wont use him even for 30 min when he isnt needed. Even these short games wont let recover his body as good as when he can completely rest, his finishing is still too good to sell him now😬

German players and managers speak pretty good English anyways. Compared to other German managers and players, Flick's English is weaker but still great by normal standards obviously.

Yes, German, Dutch and Scandinavians and Northern Europeans in general obviously speak better English than those who are of romance languages and such.
It's always a surprise when a German, Dane, Dutchie is a poor English speaker or doesn't speak English at all. At least the ones in the public eye.
