Anyone else noticed the attitude change after el clasio/breaking up with his gf? I think every goal after that he has kissed the badge and he has left the provocative or egoistic celebrations to minimum. Not that I have ever doubted his commitment to the club and badge but it's nice to see him focused and not giving media any reasons to write about him other than his on the field performances.

Him taking that pause is what's creating the space. He is attracting 2-3 players on the touchline, THEN releases a perfect ball towards the middle, pinning the fullback+his helper on him and taking them out of the game for others to combine in the center.
