I think playing for Morocco would be a lot more fitting for Yamal than Spain. Spain will always be a very RM-focused national team (pleasing the nations capital of course) so I don't think this whole battle with Carvajal will go down well for the NT. They will always favor RM players.

Morocco has solid players and he can really build a legacy there. TBH I prefer seeing him play for them anyway.

There’s no battle with Carvajal. He and a couple of other Madrid players commented after the match that they don’t have a problem with Yamal, nor his comments. Tchouaméni even said he liked what Yamal tried to do. Said the matchup in recent years have been lacking compared to what he saw as a kid.
