10 - Lamine Yamal

I don’t think we are too dependent on Lamine. Under Flick, we are attacking from all angles, leaving no room to breathe for opponents. If it isn’t Lamine on the right or Raphinha on the left, it’s Pedro, Ferran, Olmo, Lewa, or Fermin in the center.

Blitz krieg. 💪

You're welcome
Anyone noticed during minute 75 or something there was a Levante player on the ground and Lamine was wide on ball. Lamine was first checking if the player got up or should shoot the ball out of bound to stop play.

Well mannered gangsta.

Yeah, we've seen that last season when he missed a few games.

Shit's getting serious. Worked well the last time our #10 had a GF from Rosario though. :antonella:

All great and well but BOTH Levante's goals came after Lamine's lost possession.
That’s expected from a high-risk player like him. Even Messi lost the ball often.
It’s up to the team to react better in those situations, and up to the coach to set the attacking shape in a way that minimizes the threat as much as possible.

"Even Messi lost the ball often" is argument on primary school level.

Hey, Lamine scores bangers. So what, Christensen scored one a month ago too.

Noone is disputing his qualities but let's call it like it is. Calling out particular mistakes does not take away from his obvious qualities.

I noticed that too. We also conceded a similar goal in the pre-season after him losing the ball attempting to dribble past 2 players. The problem is, the more comfortable he feels on the pitch, the more risks he's taking to deliver a show. When he was 16 years old, I don't remember any stupid ball losses from him. Now they're starting slowly to pile up and hurt us. I hope Flick manages to turn him around again in the early stages, because this side of his growing ego isn't good for the team.
