What should the club prioritize

Like who?, araujo is the only player in our current squad that we could put into that category.
We sign plenty of players noone's heard of for the B team hoping they make it to the first team. It's rare to the point that it barely happens that a top club signs a completely unknown player hoping for instant impact.
We've signed a lot of players who are good market opportunities in recent times that's what we've been living off the last few years smart signings and Masia.

We almost signed another but he pussied out.

Kessie
Christensen
Memphis
Auba
Raph at the time of the price
Olmo.

Could name a few more

All players in that 60m or less category.
Sure, most of those back in 2022.

Olmo is hardly a market opportunity, we were the only club interested and he comes with serious injury concerns. Good signing though. Similar for Nico, he's a solid option but also a significant financial package.
The lines of doue, neves, Barcola, were all know names and known talents that PSG with unlimited pocket move for first and past.

Only difference is PSG is signing 1 every few months.

PS he did say we are only looking at known names, which clearly indicates he doesn't want to do what PSG is doing, because everyone they said Bar pacho was a known name.
I think you're reading too much into the word known here. He obviously didn't mean players noone's heard of.

Either market opportunities or talents about to move to a bigger club. Not the most obvious targets that are costly.

I'd argue Deco has shown little imagination so far, but he has a summer in front of him.

I've known Pacho since his Antwerp days and actually wanted him for Barca back then.
He was a known name for anyone that paid attention.

The unknown argument isn't consistent, unless you are a prospect, it is very rare that you are good enough for Barca and be unknown.

Unknown is not the right word. Every young player comes with a risk, and the club that does its homework better and has more money to chase the risk is better positioned to get lucky.

Being at 1:1 only means you can spend the amount you sell for or get rid for.

To register players you still need them to be under your assigned salary cap.

Right now Barca are neither 1:1 or able to register new players under their assigned salary cap officially.

PSG signed doue for 50m
We got yamal for free.

They signed Mendes for IDK 40m?
Balde free.

Nevers 50m
Bernal, casado free.

You see what I'm getting at?, so we should have the best youth setup in the world and sign a bunch of 30-40m players.

In a perfect world sure, but it doesn't really work like that

La Masia is a given strong point. But beyond that, our transfer targets are reltively boring and unimaginative. When we did take chances, we showed this is a bad part of the club.

Have they recognised the VIP seats sale yet? If not, that alone should bring the cap back to early February numbers, about 30m impact rumoured.

Right now I just want to know when our salary cap will be 700-750m+.

It's clear we operate at a 250m loss because of no stadium probably. Imagine generating even 150-200m more per season. It gets fixed instantly in 2-3 seasons. The first season with full operational Camp Nou means problems go away. Until the next Bartomeu at least.

Not yet.

Audit going on they say. First need approval from Crowe then approval from La Liga’s auditor.

Club believes it will be approved since they are built, but then again club also thought we were going to be back at Camp Nou before and have 60k fans at the Gamper Trophy so what the club believes is kind of irrelevant.

Let's look at our resourcing of top talent from other leagues compared to Madrid. It's abysmal by comparison. Just because we have La Masia doesn't mean this kind of thing is good for us. The we wonder why our success is so much tied to La Masia top tier generations.

We have to be realistic and work on our issues. Especially now when we can't go at big clubs and buy their stars like we did with Suarez, Henry, and other players of the past.

In our current situation we aren't going to sign a bunch of good market opportunities.

When we had money to spend after the levers we showed we can do that, I would say that's one of the best windows any club has had in recent memory.

Season after that we couldn't sign anyone.

Last summer we signed olmo, 60m euros player who just won the Euros, yes he only wanted us, but good market opportunity.

This summer it would have been Nico, and we sign a keeper for 25m euros.

I don't think we can ask for much more given our situation and I think that's objectively good, would have been better if we sealed the Nico deal.

It's heavily Spanish influence but that's go be expected, most clubs buy players they know will do well domestically first.

We are just looking at PSG and not understanding how different our situations are.

Our scouting is just not very good. Outside talent we signed in the last decade or so that was somewhat under the radar are Malcom, and Trincao. And Dest. Other names signed for 30-50m from outside of Spanish football I'm missing? Someone from outside our usual sphere of influence?

Completely missing this weapon at our club for me. We need to step up our game in this area. This area for me is 30-50m player of good age, without ties to Spanish football or La Masia.

De Jong is outside of this area for example. Well established youngster with massive interest already set, star-like fee. Raphinha is borderline, more of a big name, but still a move we rarely make.
