Having defenders with IQ in degrees Celsius doesnt help though.

Despite the system.

Having skilled, technically proficient defenders will reduce the number of goals conceded per game, say from 3 to 1 or 2.

We concede only 2 vs Inter milan, we are through to UCL finals

Van Dijk on a big deal for 2 years would have been great.

But seeing the Liverpool project, makes sense he decided to renew on big money.

That is the reality. Flick system is offensive minded and pressing is the defense. Few tweeks here and there might improve few things, but we will continue to rely on ourscoring opponents, and you will continue to blame the system. It is like a girl saying "I will change him". I'm not, nor is anyone with common sense, asking Flick to change his entire way of playing, nor does he need to.

It's simple: if you are 1 goal ahead, with 3 minutes left, maybe don't go looking for a second goal.

An adjustment he has shown he's capable of making since the winter break in La Liga.

Against Inter, the entire team, and he, just got caught up in the moment.

I think it was against Madrid, after the Inter game, that Yamal got the ball late as well and went to the corner flag, basically showing he learned from that situation, and Flick said what he said about the game afterward, so I won't repeat it.

The issue isn't the quality of the defenders; Flick knows it, the entire coaching and technical staff knows it.

We will need to replace Martínez soon; that's about it.

Again, I've asked multiple times, and no one can ever give me an answer: name five teams with four better center backs than us?

Arsenal, because all they buy are defenders; Liverpool, as they have two excellent starting center backs, then it falls off a cliff.

After that, I'm struggling.

I'm not trading our four for City's, PSG's, Bayern's, Madrid's, or whoever's.

Because individual quality isn't the problem.

He did not even imagine the impact of this third goal. An old grandpa coming to him but he let him scored. How could you be that dumb ? You repeated it again during the extra time. You came from minute 76 with fresh legs.

How our CBs are worse than PSG, which is why we conceded 7, and they conceded 0.

So basically they aren't being asked to play 20 yards above the half way line lol at all times no matter the circumstances 😂 😂

PSG had their CBs at the half-line in the first half when they were pressing Inter down their throats.
Just played better and didn't make boneheaded mistakes.

I wish we had 450m to spend over two seasons though.
