40m is doable. Based on highlights only addmitedly, he seems to me superior to Joan Garcia.
I think for us, Garcia is better. We need a good 1v1 GK.
In that aspect, Garcia is clearer than Chevalier, even if Chevalier might be a better shot stopper.

Chevalier is a better shot-stopper, although Joan Garcia is much better at claiming crosses, high balls than Chevalier.

Both would be good signings IMO.

Not sure if anyone followed the pre-match press conference, but he said the CL title is a clear target for them next season and that everything will start from scratch this pre-season. Players will have to work even harder.

Also said Deco knows what he wants for signings and in which positions they can improve.

If he didn't say anything about squad depth for next season's chances for CL it's not enough.

Love to hear this. Now get those signings he needs.

If the CL trophy is the biggest objective next season, bin the terrorist ffs. How do they not see this, the entire internet is making fun of the guy.

It seems stupid Deco doesn't want him gone though Flick would be open for a new GK signing.

I am wildly excited for the next season

I have zero doubts in this man. His intelligence and understanding of football are immense. He will fine-tune the system and we will be 10 times stronger

If he is, on top of that, supported by the board with good signings we will achieve some remarkable things

We need to keep playing attractive and we need to keep the same style and same philosophy. Only thing we need is more pragmatism when it comes to closing out games, making sure Acerbi goal never ever happens again

I'm so glad we don't have someone like you in charge.

Just an emotional wreck, everything is a 10 alarm fire lol.

I agree with you re MATS but still lol

Stegen is an alarm fire. If we had someone like me in charge I would have binned the guy in 2015. Quick and easy, like ripping a band aid.

I'm not that optimistic tbh.

Usually teams lose steam in the second season after a great one, the team already suffered massively from complacency after beating the shit out of Madrid and Bayern in a span of just 4 days.

Not to mention squad depth and key reinforcements that are a must in order to hope for more next season.

Also injuries, refereeings, luck and opponents play a major role in later stages of CL so it will definitely be hard.
